Bristol’s first Studio School brings a new and innovative approach to learning in South Gloucestershire, and Springfield was thrilled to play a key role in its fit-out.
The project’s criteria focused on creating inspiring technical and practical learning environments alongside high-quality teaching and study spaces. The goal was to enhance educational outcomes, improve skills, and support employment opportunities for students in the region.
This was an exciting project for us to be part of, and we’re proud to have contributed to such a forward-thinking educational facility.
Working closely with the Architect and Client, Springfield designed, manufactured, and installed the fixed and loose furniture required for this complex, and unique, learning environment.
The Project included a number of Science and Tecnology rooms, that required bespoke Benching and storage units, with Trespa or solid wood worksurfaces.
Also Spaceworkshop IT Benching with interesting shaped designs were used to create a unique layout, that maximises teaching and learning.
Sink Unit storage runs installed in most technology rooms, as well as prep rooms, with the needed gas and electric facilities.
This was a successful project and the customer was so happy with the end result.
