Bristol - Digitech Studio School

Springfield had the privilege of contributing to Bristol’s first Studio School, a groundbreaking educational initiative in South Gloucestershire that is redefining learning.

The project’s focus was on designing dynamic technical and practical learning spaces, while also providing high-quality study and teaching areas that would foster skill development and open doors to future employment opportunities.

Our work played a pivotal role in creating an environment that would inspire students and support their educational journeys. The result is an innovative facility designed to enhance learning outcomes and prepare students for success in the workforce.

Working closely with the Architect and Client, Springfield designed, manufactured, and installed the fixed and loose furniture required for this complex, and unique, learning environment.

The Project included a number of Science and Tecnology rooms, that required bespoke Benching and storage units, with Trespa or solid wood worksurfaces.
Also Spaceworkshop IT Benching with interesting shaped designs were used to create a unique layout, that maximises teaching and learning.

Sink Unit storage runs installed in most technology rooms, as well as prep rooms, with the needed gas and electric facilities.

This was a successful project and the customer was so happy with the end result.
