Our Challenge

One of the key challenges of this project was coordinating the fit-out of multiple, functionally different spaces within a live university environment at Aberystwyth University. Each area — from highly specified laboratories to welcoming breakout zones and a bespoke reception desk — required careful planning, technical precision, and minimal disruption to daily operations. Aligning diverse stakeholder requirements while maintaining programme timelines and strict compliance with ISO 19650 standards demanded clear communication, detailed BIM integration, and proactive problem-solving throughout.

 

The Outcome

Leveraging Building Information Modelling (BIM) and working to ISO 19650 standards, we ensured precise planning and seamless coordination throughout the project. This approach provided the client with detailed, room-by-room product specifications well in advance, building trust and clarity from the outset.
